The Suwannee Valley Agricultural Extension Center is proud to announce that on May 28 it will be holding its 2015 Twilight Field Day. Join UF/IFAS Extension agents and other staff in an educational experience where you will get a chance to tour the facilities at Live Oak and learn about current greenhouse and field research. Four tour options will be available: Agronomic Crops, Vegetable Crops, Greenhouse/Hydroponics and Diversified Fruit Orchard. To register for this event click here.

Our Feature Farmer of the Month is Mack Glass. Mack Glass has been running Cherokee Ranch in Jackson County, a family owned timber and cattle operation since 1971. Among his innovative accomplishments are the development of an internationally recognized Beef Master herd and the incorporation of cold hardy Satsuma oranges to his operation in 2002.
